  • I guess it's just a case of you like it or you don't like it. Does my negative review make me a 'whining' metaller? I don't think so. Satyricon is just one of those Marmite albums. The band are now exploring post-black territories and I am no longer interested in them. I feel that the new album has no real direction, but that's my opinion. I'm not that young kid who was into Venom in the early 80's, but I still like my black metal black, as opposed to progressive, but that's just me.
