  • The contents of the very tape are without doubt identical, regardless of varying designs of the sleeve inserts. Not sure about which version came first in that respect, but the other one (with the rough xeroxed sleeve) looks like the first edition. Some of those xerox inserts also appeared with a tiny mistype, being "Stilyargi". Most of these tapes' sound quality is probably rather questionable, there's also the running speed issue - for example, the rip that keeps circling online for years is audibly at slightly slower speed; I wonder if anyone has a proper high quality original cassette copy with cleaner sound?... But judging from the recently released VOD LP master of "8 Aspects" - while that one is mastered from the best possible source, you can tell the original recording itself very probably sounds just as "primitive". Also of note is that the VOD LP left out some very few seconds of that heavy breathing on "Artists At War". But apart from that, the LP is the most promising, clean version of this amazing synth-pop collection. As for my cassette copy - it is the xeroxed sleeve C90, playing the entire list of 8 songs on sides a + b; the songs run at correct speed, but the sound is very muffled due to being multiplied from a copy already, and also "Eyes Of Christ" is abruptly cut off about 15-20 secs short before the very end (identically so, on both sides; originally the tape version, just like the 7" version, has a fade out).
